SECURE STEEL ROAD PLATES WITHOUT COLD PATCH


A reusable road plate securing system that installs in minutes and eliminates repeated maintenance with cold patch.

INSTALL IN 4 SIMPLE STEPS

  • INSTALL ROAD PLATE

    Position the steel road plate over the excavation according to your project requirements. Use Plate Locks shims underneath the plate when needed to improve support and help reduce movement and plate noise.

  • ADD THE PLATE LOCKS

    Place the Plate Locks ramps along the exposed edges of the steel road plate. The safety-orange ramps create a clean, highly visible transition between the roadway and the plate. Plate Locks can also be cut at every foot to fit different plate sizes and configurations.

  • PREDRILL AND ANCHOR

    Using a 3/8" SDS Plus drill bit, pre drill through the Plate Locks anchor holes and into the pavement. Secure each section with the recommended concrete anchors and washers. Plate Locks anchor to the pavement — not through the steel road plate.

  • REMOVE AND REUSE

    When access to the excavation is needed, the steel plate can be lifted without removing the Plate Locks perimeter. When the project is complete, remove the Plate Locks and reuse them on the next job.

    The tapered Plate Locks ramp creates a consistent transition between the roadway surface and the steel plate.

  • SUPPORTS THE PLATE

    Plate Locks shims are available in multiple thicknesses and can be placed beneath the steel plate to improve support and help reduce movement and noise.

  • REUSABLE

    Plate Locks can be removed when the project is complete and reused on the next job—reducing waste and eliminating the need for repeated cold patch.
